To work in Buildap, we have to switch between Netbeans and cmd line.
I've noticed some bad behavior when my WinXP cmd line prompt is pointing at my netbeans project space, while netbeans tries to automatically make and change files.
Sometimes, netbeans wouldn't make a file, but it also wouldn't throw an error about the conflict it had with the cmd line prompt.
Or it would partially make it's changes, but not report an error. Other times, Netbeans would show an error message about the cmd line prompt. go figure.
Just something to be aware of if you notice erratic behavior while working on your project.

Unfortunately there is such inconvinience, but hopefully we will eliminate need for switching between these environments.
Try refreshing affected folders in NetBeans, usually it works.
