Part is device. Device is part. Are these correct statements? Explain.

A device is made of one or more parts. If we define parts to be the leaf nodes of Buildap, then a part cannot be a device.

However, if we take a more general approach, devices can be used as 'parts' for even bigger devices. So, in that sense a device could be considered a part.

I would say a part can be a device because, as stated already, larger devices may use another device as a part.
The answer to whether or not a device is a part lies in how we define device. Suggested above, a device is one or more parts. If this is true, then all parts can be considered devices because a device can be one part. I am inclined to define a device as more than one part, therefore a device is not a part.

Strictly speaking Part is not a Device as Device is not a Part but both can be transformed into another.

Device is a part, but not every part is a device. We define part as a component and device is a component as well. We say that we have 2 kind of parts - atomic part or composed part or device.
