VCB Framework is core of VSCB IDE. It processes VCB configuaration files in order to run software applications based on VCB parts. VCB Framework is a runtime container for the parts and is responsible for message forwarding according to the connectors (wires) defined in declarative configuration files. Parts provides atomic functionality to perform standard processing, databases queries, SOAP calls, XML transformations and similar functions while the framework allows to perfom much more complex logic via hearchical compostion of parts into devices and systems.

VSCB could be used for Enterprise Intergration, Internet portal, Web service intergration and other large and complex applications. There are several visual tools to help in development such applications. Ultimately it will be integrated with the diagram editor.
